Game Night with the Utah Jazz
Game Night with the Utah Jazz is the annual charity event to raise money for a cause like 5 For the Fight, Autism Awareness and Make-A-Wish Foundation. Every year I get to design all the event graphics from start to finish. Here are the logos from each year.
Salt Lake Shootout
The L.A. Kings play a preseason hockey game each year at Vivint Arena. In 2018 and 2019, the event was called the Salt Lake Shootout (now the Frozen Fury). This logo was co-designed by Ben Barnes and me.
Seattle Kraken
In 2016, a few years before the Seattle Kraken became the 32nd team in the NHL, I created a concept logo for my own enjoyment. While I would design this differently today after working in sports, I am still proud of this project.
60 in 60
Between 2017 and 2019, I designed a logo for the 60 in 60 radio program the station 1280 The Zone that would live on their website as they revealed their top 60 college football athletes in Utah. Each years logo was essentially the same, but I updated color and tone every year. Below is the 5th anniversary logo of the program.
Salt City FC Podcast
Another logo I created for the radio station 1280 The Zone is for their soccer program that doubled as a podcast. The colors hint at the colors of Real Salt Lake, without giving the impression that the show was only about RSL.
Holiday Jazz Note Icon
In 2018, the Jazz needed a fun t-shirt design for a holiday event where players hung out with less-fortunate kids. As part of the design, I created a candy peppermint version of the Utah Jazz note icon.
Unified Basketball Tournament
In 2022, there was a High School basketball tournament featuring local Special Olympic athletes. I was able to create all the event collateral including this logo.
Fishmore Lodge
While furloughed in 2020, I was asked to design a logo for a man who owns a cabin up in Idaho where he likes to go fly fishing.
